Terry’s love for tennis began with a cheap old racket and a local tennis club. What started as a pastime evolved into a lifelong passion, including playing league tennis, coaching, and running groups at the club. Despite his diagnosis, Terry never let cancer slow him down.
“I’ve been playing tennis since I was 28 years old and coaching for over 20 years,” Terry shared. “If the weather is dry, I’ll always be out playing on the courts. Even after treatment in the morning, I’d be back playing that same afternoon.”
Terry also cherishes his extensive music collection, finding solace and relaxation in the familiarity of putting on an album.
“Music has always been a part of my life,” he said. “There’s something special about the feel and ritual of listening to music, whether it’s vinyl, cassettes, or CDs.”
